Tomorrow Is Prime Day!

this is the stupidest holiday since Arbor day.

On a more serious note, this thread (and its duplicate thread) is in bad taste. In the other and identical thread of this, Prime-Collector stated that he is 3/4 Jewish - would he like it if non-Jewish members made disrespectful remarks about central figures in Judaism, like Jacob, Moses, or Elijah? People can always make fun of Purim as a holiday where the Hebrews celebrate yet another persecution, or in this case, Optimus Prime goes through another repaint and people watch the "Unicron Battles" from Armada on Purim.

So does that make Arcee Esther?

You make a good point actually....

Oh, and screw Hanukkah, Purim's where it's at when it comes to rockin' Jewish holidays :tflaugh

This was just about my first post one year ago.

Happy Prime Day!

(Not just random sacrilege joke, my family actually celibates this and has for years.)

Celibates?!? So, your family doesn't have sex?

worst holiday ever

I thought that title went to National Randomly Punch Some Guy in the Scrotum Day. Boy, that one sucks...

I'm not saying you can't make fun of religion - ridiculing the believers is one thing, but to mock an important figure, Jesus in this case, is something else.

This thread and the holiday it pertains to are about the fictional death and rebirth of MY favorite imaginary character. Leave yours out of it.

  • 6 years later...

Enjoy your Bad Friday everyone!

Don't forget to watch Transformers: The Movie tonight!

(Or Other voices 2, reading Marvel Transformers #24 (#106 UK) or any of the multitudes of times Prime, ever so briefly kicked the cyber-bucket.)

    • So much for giving our wallets a breather! In the waning days of 2023, Hasbro is starting to trickle out their 2024 line Legacy United. The first figure for most of us is Animated Optimus Prime. While I was never a fan of the cartoon, I did respect the toys and how they captured the style of said cartoon. This Voyager interpretation while giving the design some fresh angles, remains faithful to the original look. I think Animated and all Transformers fans will find something to like about this version of Optimus Prime.
    • I like big bots, and I cannot resist following up on Alt Mode Week feature of the 2012 Transformers: Dark Of The Moon Ultimate Optimus Prime Year Of The Dragon MechTech figure with a look at the robot mode. You'll need to roll up your sleeves and do some work to transform the truck into the Omega Combat Armor mode. - Read the Full News Story
    • This time I look at a real oddity of a legends Starscream. I'm unsure which particular version I have as this guy have several variants and was released multiple times from 2010 to 2017; from RtS to Chronicles, EZ Collection to being a dollar store release!
    • During the registration process, there is a question about who directed the first Transformers movie.  I answered Nelson Shin, and was told I was incorrect.  Apparently you all think Michael Bay directed the 1986 movie.  Wow smh
    • "The Rise Of The Beasts may have fallen to the bottom of the Movie franchise..." Yet, according to the audience, it's number 4 of 7. Perhaps the Bayverse should have focused more on the TRANSFORMERS, than the humans/military. Wow smh. Michael Bay needs to be kept far away from any future projects! Audience scores 1) Bumblebee (2018): 91% 2) Transformers the Movie (1986): 62% 3) Transformers (2007): 57% 4) Transformers Rise of the Beasts (2023): 52% 5) Transformers Dark of the Moon (2011): 35% 6) Transformers Revenge of the Fallen (2009): 20% 7) Transformers Age of Extinction (2014): 14%
