Toy Fair 2008: Look At Fully Painted Classics 2.0 Wave 1

Live at Toy Fair 2008 in New York, we just received official images giving us the first-look at the colored Transformers: Universe Classics 2.0 wave 1 figures. We gave you a detailed description of some of the figures earlier this month and now we have hi-res images for you to take a look at, along with some additional figures in this wave that just came out today.



The first wave includes:
Deluxe - Sunstreaker, Prowl, and Tankor
Ultra - Powerglide and Onslaught
Voyager (just revealed today, repaints) - Autobot Blaster (TakaraTomy Soundblaster) and Decepticon Heavy Bomb with Mini-con.

Ugh...the Soundwave mold. Great in theory, poor in execution. Although I would dig a lion figure like that one kitbash.

Powerglide looks better now that he's transformed right, but I dunno... still on the fence about him. The 2 Cyb repaints... at least they picked decent molds to repaint this time around. The rest... sign me up!

Prowl, Onslaught, and Octane look good overall. Sunstreaker needs to have that windshield in robot mode moved up into his chest and under the roof, not looking good with it in it's current location. Not liking Powerglide's robo chest thrusters unless they can be moved onto his back :P . Not digging the repaints.
