Flipping around Movie Incinerator's engines?

How hard is it to detach Movie Incinerator's engines, flipping them around left-to-right and then re-attaching them without sacrificing the rotor action?

The reason I plan to do this is to make it more like the the real life V-22 Osprey, which has the cooling intakes under the engines instead of above.

Just from looking at pictures of him on line, it almost looks like he was inteded to have those engines on the other way round anyway. As they are, the screws show from the front, and that's rarely how a finished toy is intended. With all the joints going on there, I'm guessing that it'll be a simple operation. Always go after them at the joint!

However, the actual operational record of the Osprey is so bad, they may as well put the real engines on backward and see how it works. From what I've read, those things are death traps! (Makes for a good 'Con though!)

Actually the amount of crashes is comparable to some of the current major US fighter jets during their test periods. The plane being more famous in it's prototype status and the crashes being more spectacular makes it look like it's worst.

And the production model has tripple and quadruple redundancies in just about anything they could do that to.

Anyway, the cooling intake needs to be under the engine in order to be able to receive air and cool the engines in between hover and full airplane mode.
