But like I said, it's unlikely they will use an outdated car design. Plus. the current headsculpt isn't matching any actual G1 character. It would have to be a totally new headsculpt for it to be inserted in the Universe line.

 

That was the point I was trying to make earlier, I don't think Universe is in intended to be 100% Classics 2.0, but will like be a mix of things (otherwise why resurrect "Universe" as the line's name, instead of simply continuing to call it "Classics").

My 2 cents:

 

This mold will probably see a main line release at some point, probably in the same color scheme and name.

 

But everyone who bought it already shouldn't be bummed, you get the figure months (years?) before the rest of us will have a chance to own it. :tfevil

Crap... I had heard about this figure, but his head scuplt makes him freaking awesome! Just when I thought my wallet had a chance to take a break.

I hope you didn't buy one just yet. I grabbed an extra, figuring rather than chuck some crappy A/E/C 'bot in our deal as a bonus I'll stick one of these in instead. So long as the order goes through... it should do. Fingers crossed!
