I digs. Not enough to buy him since I have the black and black rules all. But, cool none the less.

Okay... I like how you can actually make out facial details.

 

But overall... meh. Seems like a redeco for the sake of being a redeco, while the other ones had some kind of purpose.

 

Also, the minty-fresh missiles put me off. Also the yellow spots don't work for me either.

I know it won't happen, as it's a bit too Alt-Prime, but a red truck (as in G1) repaint would have been nice.

 

As it is, a nice figure - but as said above, a bit unneccessary

Hmm... not really doing it for me. I like blue on my automobiles the most... but they kinda botched it with the baby blue. The realism attempted at the mudspray is totally ruined by those baby blue missiles. And they painted the eyes again? Oh come on. If you're going to re-deco this fig... actually use the lightpiping pieces on the back of the head. So wasteful!

Translucent weapons were one of the reasons why I stayed away from the Energon toy line. If this Ironhide were painted red, it would be in instant sale to me.
