MP-05 Megatron Rusting and Tarnishing

I just read this over at tfw2005. A lot of people are experiencing rusting and/or tarnishing on parts of their Megatron. The main problem areas seem to be on the feet and the spine. One person posted saying that the metal used was brass and that the problem is just flaking chrome with the brass underneath tarnishing. But a couple of the pictures look like straight up rust. This prompted me to go check mine and much to my disappointment I found some yellow tarnished spots on the frame under his arms. Anyone here with a Megs might want to give him a look. Variant Limited Edition Cosmic Rust Megatron, instead of painted rust they gave it authentic real rust.

WTF! Just when the MP line was begining to be a top not-notch TF series. Takara-Tomy's QA has got to pay attention to their work.
