Safety measures

Could the fact that none of the missiles could actually be fired be a safety aspect? 'Cos these days they obv do. Much to my enjoyment!

thats just the hasbro reissues, a BUNCH of g1 toys shot their missiles. there where some, such as blitzwing, that did in fact have their launching capabilities removed way back in g1 days though. i recently fixed my blitzwing to shoot and i can understand why it was removed, those little buggers really fly and they'd be so easy to lose.

Most of the springs in the ones that worked were so weak they hardly qualified as functional.

These safety measures were in response to some kids choking on the shooting missiles from the original Battlestar Galactica toys.
