Hey can any one help me out or point me into the rite direction as to what programs are used in coloring modern comic art? I.E. Dreamwave stuff?

Do I sound like a dork?... :tfhuh

Ima a artist who is getting back into comics,..my pencils are great..but i wanna scan them an add the final touch......COLOR

Im a huge anime freak,..an i have been avoiding the pc to color stuff.

I use every thing else charcole,waterclor,prisma color markers...I jus figure its about time to jus learn.except i dont know were to go?

Adobe Streamline to re trace your scans for a solid clean lines in B/W and Photo Shop to color plus you could also use Illustrator.

 

Type up something like "photoshop techniques for comics" on your search engine.

 

Also a great beginners book on the subject is put out by "Blue Line Pro's How To Series" called "Digital Colors for Comics"

 

This should be enough to get you started.

Yeah

 

most people in the industry [myself included] use Adobe Photoshop for colors

 

I'm working on a coloring walkthrough right now

 

people found previous versions of my walkthroughs to be really helpful so ill be sure to post that here when im through with it
