its a HEMI!!

no, seriously...I don't know. I'm thinking it wasn't a production engine or anything. I'm out of touch now with cars. If it's a production engine, I'm going to guess it's the engine for the 08 Camaro.

EDIT: The reason I think it isn't a production engine is because if I were GM, I wouldn't want it associated with breaking down...even if its in a $150 mil movie about giant alien robots.

I've read that article as well but, I'm a huge fan of all motor setups therefore, I'm absolutely amped about Individual throttle bodies and side draft carbs. Which is what that engine had on it and i didn't think possible on a V8. Plus one of my friends used to have that body style Camaro. I just want to see If a backyard mechanic could set that up. I have some experience with N/A 4 cylinder import builds Including a one off custom CBR 929RR ITB Dohc CRX build and an AE86 with a JDM 20v swap, prior to that It was a side drafted USdm 4ag 16v. Sorry if this is rambling or boasting to you all but I beleive being obsessed with transformers as a child is part of what fueled my automotive obsession. Thanks a million.

No idea.

Looked like it had a lot more balls than the factory/stock model.

She seemed pretty impressed with it during the under the hood shot.
