Classics Continues

I just call the Ti's by TiTF same with the Ti Star Wars, TiSW. Ti sounds almost like saying Thai, yum, Thai.

Since Universe has never released in Europe, then I guess us European fans will have to import the next Classics. Grr, bad enough we've still to get a full TF line here, but to most likely miss out on the next Classics is just yet another example of how little Hasbro cares for it's European market.

I love this news. What sucks though is that it means by making the seekers exclusives that Botcon has screwed the larger fandom sideways.

Thanks a Lot.

I'll settle for the remaining Seekers with a different mould. Any suggestions for which moulds could be used though? :schin

For alts, Im disappointed at the abrupt ending. They had a Megatron designed they could do. Also easy repaints of two figs that are SUPPOESD to be repaints would be Frenzy as a blue Honda and Ultra Magnus as a white Dodge Ram SRT10.

Classics still coming- it's all good to me. Love the classics like (except Devastator)

Damnit, stop say "Titaniums"!! It's juvenile and utterly unnecessary!! The official abbreviation for "titanium" is Ti, not Titanium. Ti looks less stupid, it's shorter to type and there's not stupid innuendo. Read your period table of elements, people!! Gah!!!

well your the one with his head in the gutter, your the only one seeing ( o Y o ) :tftongue

Hey, anyone kow if Ti Prowl is still in the works? I love that figure and is the only one I'm probably picking up. The Ti's lacked a lot in just being stable toys. I'd still love to get Prime and prowl though but other than that I'm not too broken about it being a done deal.

Love the Alts but it was getting a little cumbersome finding places to keep them. IMO I just wish that the Alts kept the origional plan of just consisting of Autobots although I'd kill for another Shockwave.

On Universe/Classics ... Awesome! I wonder though if Hasbro would ever think of bringing in "major" auto companies as they did with Movi-formers?

naw, the Titaniums are gone unfortunately. as for classics 2.0, while it was nice that we got real vehicles, it might put to much stress on the alt mode looking better than the bot.

Saddness. That Prowl just rocked so hard I was just waiting to pick him up. Would be nice to see him in Classics 2.0 though. Even though he would be all plastic it would be worth it to me for a sturdier toy.

WW Prowl and WW Grimlock are still gonna be released. They are pretty much the last new molds from Titanium (the idea of a few last repaints was mentioned too, but I doubt they'll ever happen). Also, Hasbro said that WW Prowl and WW Grimlock will be pretty hard to find since the stores don't want to carry Titaniums anymore. This was all news I read in the botcon threads. Also, the 4 prototype Titaniums won't be made b/c they never made molds of them, so they aren't going to now (that was their excuse). However, they did say that we MAY see those designs as part of the Classics 2.0 line.

That sounds Perfect! I was hoping that Ti(T?) wouldn't abandon the mold forProwl at least. Sad thing about that though is it would have been nice to see the other characters such as Bluestreak, Jazz, Ironhide etc. I saw a WW old for Bumblebee on Sibertron.comthat looks like it's ready for production so maybe the WW designs will see a breath of fresh air with Universe. I do have to agree that the Universe name does unbind Hasbro's hands quite a bit and gives them more creative freedom. I'm excited to see what comes out of this line. Hopefully it won't be just in the Kaybee Toystores and I DO hope all of you on the other side of the planet get them too. :thumb

Alternator Frenzy would have been nice, but do you seriously want a repainted Alt. Prime? IMO that mold was a turd. To each their own, but I'd rather see this new Ultra Magnus that's been rumored for TF: Animated than a white Ram, especially if it's got the trailer and armour that Classics Magnus should have had..

Alternators ending definitely disappoints me. There was a (very) brief period when I could find pretty much everything I wanted, and shortly thereafter, nothing new seemed to come about, save for Sunstreaker (which was a necessary buy), Prime (which was a disappointment to me) and the lame repaints (Rollbar, Camshaft, Ricochet). I never saw Shockblast, Battle Ravage, Wheeljack, Prowl or Decepticharge around. The only new mold I've found in the past 6 months has been Mirage, with no hint of Rumble or Ravage. It's been said already that distribution killed Titaniums; for me it's been the same with Alternators.

Titaniums I could really care less about. I've only picked up WW Prime, and while there were others I had interest in (Soundwave, G1 UM, WW Megs, the Fallen), the price tag of the line was pretty steep when I could get Classics for less (and now, Movie figs).

As for the Classics 2.0/Universe announcement, I'm thrilled. I made sure to get every figure in the line (minus the Mini-cons and Legends, and getting Magnus/Skywarp online because of Canada's lack of Target stores) and wanted more.

I REALLY hope they put the planned Titanium Shockwave mold in there (might as well), and while I have both Alt Sideswipe and Sunstreaker, I'd gladly buy both characters again. I'm just hoping the number of Decepticons starts to increase a bit (which would have been done so much more easily had they just released the Seekers, but I do see the concern about having 6 of a similar mold on the market at once). Has anyone else thought that if they didn't want to put the figures out in mass numbers at retailers, they maybe could have had G1-esque mail-in offers allowing those of us who either couldn't make it to BotCon or afford the outrageous $300 price tag to get the rest of the Seekers?

Yeah I would like the white Ram. There's just something clean and satisfying about UM figs that are the white versions of OP.

I'd love for them to do the same thing for Cybertron, Energon, and Movie Prime figures. Sounds like that last one is going to be done, since the Japanese name NightWatch Optimus isn't known over here but a white and blue theme fits Magnus just fine.

I still cn't believe Hasbro's stance about not releasing the other Seekers. Didn't want to "saturate the market with six similar molds" (TFormers.com Thrust review). Damn them. I don't think that the higher ups actually know how wildly popular and profitable the Seekers would have been. Or is it the old shobiz addage of "leave 'em wantin' more" ?

Why the euro-panic? If we're going to get any more Classics/Universe molds, they'll just change the logo and sell it under the mainline. Universe has always kept the packaging the same as the mainline, just with a diffrent logo. (Aside form the first few waves.) So the logo doesn't change for EU. So what? If the movie cashes like I think it will / does, the future is bright and shiney, even for europe.
