Corvis Prime

Um, maybe its this toy but are TFs overpriced

Recommended Posts

Okay last night I got that 18" Sp Spiderman, and it was 20 bucks, now, heres the wierd part. Its just four inches shorter than fort max, its bigger that unicron, but Unicron costs 50 (I know the electronics add to his price) But it makes TFs seem over priced.

He doesn't transform and he is made of ghetto plastic. He just reeks of cheap plastic. I know, my roommate has him and he has already broken spidey's thumb. He and Unicron are flipping each other off from across the room, they don't get along very well.

Toybiz's plastic isn't that durable...

Hasbro's Plastic is incredibly hard...my 200 batmen are very strong....after 11 years. of hard play.

Well, the 2 figures really aren't comperable. Unicron's made of much higher quality plastic possiblely-- i'm assuming what's been said is true, i've never actually played with that Spidey-- Unicron's loaded with electronics and gimmicks (spring launching missles, the jaws/mandibles on his planet mode), and, oh yeah, he Transforms :P

Designing a toy to do that and building them around those kind of hinges and joins is what raises the prices on TFs.

Yeah, the reissues seem to be overpriced, and everything does cost a lot, but it is pretty cheap. Imagine how hard it would be to design something that transforms into a robot and something else, and looks good in both modes. Now consider doing it for 19 years. Now come up with some more! Yeah, that's a lot of work, and therefore a lot of money.

Look even at the TF reissues. 40 bucks a pop1 thats rediculus. At my local comic shop, i can get ramjet for like 60$

alot of the price on the reissues comes from TRU exclusivity markup.
