I just can't take someone saying "Doesn't Hasbro CARE about the fans" and lived through the Robot Heroes, Titanium line, Masterpiece Prime, Alternators, Classics, RIDICULOUS amount of homages in Energon and Cybertron, Beast Wars Reissues, G1 Reissues, Micromaster combiners in universe, AND Universe Skywarp seriously.

Alternators had more figures and no story line. But did okay, until they started doing repaints of characters no one really cared about. As far as shelfwarming, we have seen it in every line, so saying that the Classics didn't sell well because of shelfwarming as proof, is not really accurate. It was only two or three molds we that mostly shelfwarmed. It could be they over produced the figures.

I loved the Classics line, it was the articulated version of G1. Kindof how Hasbro is now going to do with GI Joe. The are going to do a 25th anniversary revamp version of some of the 80's version figures. Has there been dozens of Snakeyes these past few years? Yup, but they were more as versions for a certain line.

I mean really how many times have we had Bumble Bee in a line? Even a really decent looking Jetfire/Skyfire (matter of opinion of course) in a line. Megs done as a gun again since G1. So Classics did offer things we haven't seen since G1 that some fans missed, that was not included in other lines.
