Although "Beachcomber" is also rumored to be an Energon Cliffjumper repaint.

That's what I was thinking

The Hound repaint is "Searchlight"

The Dodge Ram is "Freeway"...two of the Throttlebots.

Come on guys, there aren't that many G1 cars to make..when guys like Hoist and Grapple are considered classics. They gotta stem and branch out into other car characters...they can't make all the G1 homages at once and leave all the no-name characters for the ass-end of the line..they gotta spread em out.

Wait a moment. Who said the Dodge Ram (which hasn't even been confirmed yet) was named "Freeway"? I've seen that name attached to the Ford Mustang...

And who said the Hound remold would actually be named "Searchlight"? I've pointed out the similarity in their heads, but there's no official or even unofficial word on that so far...

There's no way. Just.... no. way. The friggin' Throttlebots? Who appeared in two episodes of the American TV show? (And had speaking parts in one?) There's a better chance of this Hound repaint turning out to be Ultra Magnus. Since there is no show or comic or any other tie-in for the Alternators (at this point), the main draw for G1 fans is the characters. And they have to be characters that the fans care about. I don't remember ever giving a crap about "Searchlight" or "Freeway."

BTW the whole "Freeway" rumor came from some listing in Wal-Mart computers for an Alt. Mustang that had the letters "FR" at the end. Not exactly iron-clad proof IMO.
