Blackout and brawl would most likely be in the high 30' range.

100 foot long copter with 70 foot diameter rotors that is 28 foot tall, to a 30 foot bot?? :tfhuh SOUNDWAVE reversed. :tflaugh More like 50 as his rotor cape would be 35 foot long from the pivot. :thumb

It's more like 88' in length. But, your right, he would be a big MOFO.

Well, a 70' rotor diameter would equate to a 35' radius. and since the rotors fold up like a fan when he transforms to robot mode, a robot height in the mid-30' range sounds plausible, even with such a large vehicle mode if you factor that much of the volume is compressed as he transforms from helocopter mode to the humanoid mode. Rember, he has a lot of empty space inside when in helocopter mode and none in robot mode.

Better than a sea of S names like we always get. Bunch of B's instead of say, Starscream, Shockwave, Skywarp, Soundwave, Scrapper, and Swindle.

But the letter S is so much more sinister because it's the only letter that's pronouncible by snakes and in most cultures, snakes are believed to be the very embodiment of earthly sin :tftongue

The rotors go from the top of his body to halfway down his thighs, therfore he is well over 35 foot.

Actually, I believe that the rotor blades reach almost to the ground; at least to mid calf. That still places his height somewhere between 35'-40'.

going by the comic art of the first issue of the adaptation, the lower blades barely reach his ankles

Which definately fits to the 35'-40' height range for Blackout in robot mode.
