1:32 Ford GT Roadbot

I got the 1:32 scale Ford GT along with my black prime. He is about the same size as the Hod rod classics series.

Unfortunately he does not have the white stripes like the Mirage and large Ford GT.

This roadbot has a lot of accessories and a lot of parts removal.

cool. I don't know why the roadbots can't quite match the superiority of the alts, it's like they get half way there and smoke a joint or something and move on to something else.

First of all they are chinese as am I. The Chinese are good at copying things. hence the fantastic KO that come out. however to actually have the money and talent to invest in creating new transformation sequences costs a lot.

Most of all the great robot toys that have intricate transformation come from fantastic minds in japan. More than likely it is a time and money issue. they dont want to bother spending time nor the money to make it so great. they have an alright product. not bad but not great either. its like comparing Macross Yamato toys to Toynami's Macross toys. Definately a difference in quality.

At least Roadbots makes interesting stuff in different sizes than takara/hasbro. toynami just plain sucks at what they do.

After seeing this toy in person I have to say I think it would make a great "Classics" Cheetor repaint. The head is perfect for Cheetor, and the car mode really suits his speed.

Not that I am really up to the task myself.

I just ordered the 1:32 GT40 and Mitsubishi Pajero today from BBTS. IMHO these are great companion pieces for the TF Classics :thumb .

I think this red 1:32 scale Ford makes a nice Classic Windcharger, especially in bot mode.

That little red one is really Old school G1 like. That Big one makes me wonder why Ultimate Bumblebee cost so much. Does the license to play "Wip it" cost that much? I dont mean to change the subject from these cool non TF bots.

I was thinking Overdrive.

That makes me think of the animation on the G1 show.

As far as making a G1 reference in bot mode Windcharger is closer looking. IMO due to his abdomen area .

But Overdrive does have a closer car mode.

In my case I would make him Windcharger.
