Fort Max you are right, its a shame that some of the attractive woman that are out there are not looking for love but for someone to pay for their closet full of purses.

 

During a birthday party for a friend of mine, my friends and I decided to head up to a bar we had never been to. I classify it as presumptous and Preppy. Its the only place in town where they have a spot reserved right in front of the door for the first car over 250,000 to park in.

 

Well I was sitting at the bar talking to one of my friends when this drop dead gorgeous brunette walked up to me. I was a little taken back that she approached me, but I collected myself and made idle chat with her.

During the conversation she let it slip that she is at this place every friday and saturday night looking for men to buy her drinks. That stopped me in my tracks right there, I turned and asked her "You come here, every weekend to meet guys to buy you drinks?" She answered yes, and gave me a look that said, "so when can I put one on your tab". So whithout even thinking I responded "Well if you are here every weekend, then I already know that you are high maintenance and not worth my time." She got so pissed that she went to the owner and complained to him and told him I was harrasing her. He simply came over and asked the bartender, who witnessed everything and I caught hims smilling at my remark, what he had heard. He told the owner everything and then the owner escorted the girl out of the bar and told her to leave.

 

I have never been back since (mostly due to the overpriced drinks).

 

But its a shame that there are people out there like that.

Seriously though, Fort Max is pretty much right. A lot of women are like that. On the other hand, so are a lot of men. I think it takes a special kind of person who doesn't take life too seriously to still buy and enjoy toys at an older age.

 

And even when you find a nice sane girl who isn't self absorbed (I was lucky enough to :thumb ), she probably just won't be interested in TFs. Is it genetically hardwired? Is it learned from society? Who knows. But for some reason or another, females don't tend to like transforming war machines. Go figure.

Ah… but in truth, there are countless women who are like that, but deny being as such. Truly this is a wonderful example of how women in particular have ulterior motives.

Admiral Tailz raises a good point many men are also gold diggers and mainly concerned about superficial appearances. As they say roughly, birds of a feather flock together. I suggest that these men should hook up with the gold digging hot chicks and suffer a fate worse than death, being involved with someone as shallow as themselves. My beloved loves TF's, but her father thinks that their evil leftism, so she's not allowed to collect them, I collect them for her instead as long as she gives me an idea of what ones to get. She usually wants me to make the choices though, so I show her any pictures and info I find and let her choose what goes in the collection. She likes the look of Armada Wheeljack and Hoist, but I can't get them here in the UK, so I'm having trouble finding those two and she loves G1 Soundwave, so I'm hoping to be able to get her the Takara reissue that came out last year. She's happy that I've got some TF's in the collection that I'm fond of, which she pleaded with me to buy because she felt bad about it. Not easy helping her with the collection since I'm the only one who can give her any info, she's not allowed to watch the cartoon, see the movie unless in secret and she's not allowed any of the toys. Very annoying at times.
