Classics Ultra Magnus question...

Hey Tafans!

I noticed all the Blue parts on Prime are a lighter Blue parts on Magnus. Now Magnus has a white painted head.

How can I get that white paint off to make the blue plastic underneath show through?

I bought this clear liquid that is suppose to take away acrylic paint but is crumbles plastic.

Anyone use a paint remover that is safe for TF plastic?

Let me know...

Thanks!

depends on how you want to do it.

If you want to completely remove the head and soak it, you could use break fluid or a liquid to clean the plumbing. Both should do the trick.

Personally, I'd use either airbrush cleaner (revell) of thinner. Dip it on a piece of cloth and simply wipe until all the paint is gone. (Note: all the paint will be gone, so be careful you don't accidentally remove paint you want to keep.) Do *NOT* soak the parts because both thinner and airbrush cleaner will (when used in great amounts) eventually dissolve or damage the plastic.

Hope this helps

The subject of paint removal has, by the way, been discussed in the kitbash/repaint section. Why don't you check it out :thumb
