Really bizarre find

So I was checking my nearby Wal*Mart (Northern Virginia--near Herndon), and they had set out a bunch of new toylines, I suppose for the new year and all that (some interesting ones in there, R.E.V.s by Playmates looks promising). I guess they must have found a hence-unchecked corner of the stock room or something, since there among all the new toys (and far from the Transformers section) were two Animorphs. Circa 1999. Almost 8 years old. I probably would have bought them, if they weren't the worst Transforming toys ever made by Hasbro.

All this neat stuff, and of course there were no Grimlocks or Jetfires.

The good news is I actually did find a Grimlock tonight, at a K-Mart no less.

Animorphs. Good grief...

Ha! I love odd finds like that. What was the condition of the packaging?

I found a Marvel Legends Blade action figure in early 2006. The packaging was filthy, like a bottle of cola had burst, dried and dust settled into the sticky residue.

The closest I have ever found to something like that is the Energon Ironhide that is still sitting at a local Target as we speak. Well, aside from a bunch of oldish stuff I would find at KB Toys before they all closed. Oh and I gave away my Amimorph T-Rex guy to my nephew a year or 2 ago. Can't hardly stand the things.

Actually, surprisingly, the packaging was quite nice. I think it was last December that I found a "Legend of the Dark Knight" figure (from the mid-90s) in a different Wal*Mart, when I lived in Maine. The strangest thing was it actually rang up in a price scanner.

that's strange... i always wish to walk into a store and find some old wheeljack that was under a storage shelf for years... but i'm sure all tf fans wish something like that.

you might see what they go for on ebay and sell'em on there...

A few weeks ago, I found a pristine Armada Powerlinx repaint Superpants Prime... no price of course, and it wouldn't scan, so I tried to buy it for like $10 or $20. The manager wouldn't go for it though, I think she thought I was some seedy TF collector or something.

now that would have made me irrate pissy and all that stuff......

the closest i get to anything like that is that ol dusty energon scorponok gathering dust ...which will continue to do so

How about an entire wall of R.I.D. Optimus Primes? And I'm talking six shelves, six rows, on avarage three deep, making a total of over 100 R.I.D Primes.

see that wouldnt suck quite so bad i know a few people that want one of those...my mom our disaster boss, and even my gramma......but 100 thats just insane
