Now you also say this is open invite,

so does this mean anyone can come? And lastly stupid question, directions, or for now a round about area

we shall be traveling too.

yup "open invite" means anyone can come so far. my house isn't huge so keeping it small might be a good idea. "small"still hasn't been determined yet. as far as directions go, i'll pm them to the attendees as posting them on the open net could invite a whole new bunch of concerns. how ever, my place is in raritan, NJ 08869; and right by the raritan circle. there is a TRU by that circle as well as the bridgewater commons mall. that should give you guys at least an idea of how far this will be. again if some one else has a better locations in mind, like a bigger house or rec hall the let me know.

Would anyone be interested in watching customs be created, just step by step pieces? I would, to give me some more ideas. Plus creating my own pieces is a definite interest.

I mean, I guess we could all just sit around and watch cartoons... A possible toy show would be a better idea. Plus...my wife is looking for Tidal Wave's minicon (Ramjet) and Beast Wars Silverbolt. Always on the lookout for an alternative to eBaying them and waiting for the mail to arrive.

Not sure if I can make it...it depends on the time and date...but...

I live in Lancaster, PA...which is about an hour and a half from Philly. I haven't had a lot of time for customs lately, but I do follow the boards still, and would definitely be interested in meeting some of other 'bashers.

I am a SJ resident for all my life, and been making customs for since the 90's. AKA The Weeter.

I am currently busy as hell, with a house to help a friend build, a life to work towards and DRAMA to deal with. So I don't have a lot of free time at all. It's a miracle I did as many things as I have in the past year. Have MANY unfinished works, sitting somewhere in storage (I think anyone who wants to join in a things like this could find inspiration to complete some works here).

I would be interested in, if there is one, after the next CyberCon hanging with some customizers and just toss around some ideas. Had done so in the past when I started chatting away in the AOL days (early 90's for me), and have rarely seen the same since.

There's lots of things that could be shaired and gained. It's interesting some times just to bounce ideas off other creative people, because some ideas can become 100X greater. Not to mention variations on a similar idea.

I'm good with looking at bags of parts and figuring out ideas from what's around. Sketch pads to draw on new or retooling existing TF's. Even fan ficts and comic ideas.

Just hanging out after a con of sorts always seemed to make sense.

    • Please tell me this won't be the only release of TFP Cliffjumper...
    • If you've not had your fill of Transformers collaborative news today, here is some more with a leaked product listing for the Project Knight: Transformers X Knight Rider crossover. We've been dreaming of this one, and it appears a transforming K.I.T.T. will be coming as soon as August! It must be something big and or special with a $49. - Read the Full News Story
    • Tonight on GotBot Goes Live, we talked Transformers news for the newest multipack and some reissues. We also talked collaboratives with TMNT, an Ectotron reissue and, maybe, even Star Wars? Plus, we address the MP Ginrai teaser image and answer who is Riggorus?
    • EDIT 2: Okay, I think my real problem with this was the marketing image. The main image shows four robot turtles standing together, so I was ready for four toys, not one. Admittedly, I was so disappointed that I did not bother to read the article fully. That's my fault. I apologize. That said, now that I understand it is THE van that turns into a robot, not "robot versions of the four turtles," that makes more sense, but I don't get the four heads. There are images here of a bandana free head which I gather is not included. I would actually prefer a non-specific generic turtle head for the robot. I think that would remove a lot of confusion. At least for me. EDIT 1: My bad, I misunderstood. It's one toy with swappable heads. So, you made a thing based on a four member team, and you only want to sell one toy? You're not even trying to get people to "Collect all FOUR!" You do understand how toy sales work, right? Original Comment: This is a perfectly fine idea executed TERRIBLY. You made four unique toys, each specific to each of the Ninja Turtles, that all turn into the same vehicle? It would be one thing if they joined together to form the van. There have been transformer sets like that before. This is just wasted opportunity. Not to mention, that van exists for the turtles to ride in together as a team, so if they can turn into vehicles ... what do they need a van for? I get that that's their van, and that's cute and all, but ... this is just dumb and disappointing. Why not think about what kind of car each of them would drive based on their personalities, or ask some car company if they want to do a tie-in promotional? What do I want with four copies of the same van and no one to ride in any of them? It makes no sense.
