I'm trying to get a buch of guys in the area togeather to trade tips and show eachother how to better there work. I've been pretty busy as of late, which is why i haven't posted in here lately, but i have a couple of repaints up on tfmasters site. personaly i'm looking for people who know how to cast/make molds. thats one area i lack in. painting and part fabrication are areas that i excell in, lets not miss an oppertunity to make some kick ass creations that hasbro wished they thought of. click i started this already with some guys on tf2005,more meet info but they are mostly from the philly area so i'm not sure if they will make the haul. it doesn't have to be at my place either if we can find a more suitable location ten thats less i have to clean up. post here if your interested.

if you want to learn then we need you. besides even if you don't have advanced skills, ideas and the ability to brian storm with others can be even more valueable. not every one who want to come need to be a tfmaste or an anemis, I sure as hell am not. but why n ot hang out and share the tools of the trade.

also if you just like looking at other peoples work or want to buy sell or trade figs this is the the environment to do so. your old junker figs maybe the gold a kitbasher is looking for. most of us collect as wel so those displaable pieces are also welcome.

I'm from the outskirts of Trenton, NJ...and I saw you at one time (believe it or not).

I, too, have very slightly modified my figs and have very little success. I could use help, to be honest.

If ya want me there, just say so.

wow, i'm glad that we have a better response here then at tf2005. i think that it would be a good idea to get togeather in next month,....once all the holiday craziness has died down a bit. this is currently an open invite so if your interested your in. there was some talk on tf2005 for timeing the meet to coinside with a toy show close by,...but i'm not sure when that will be.

so this is an open question,....what should the format be or should there be no format at all. would anyone be interested in watching customs be created, just step by step pieces (WIP) or something else entirely. i mean i guess we could all just sit around and watch cartoons,.....but that would be a long haul for alot of guys for something that they could do in there living room.

Though I know all this is up in the air, but any ideas where we would meet?

I have dabbled in casting (that is how I melted my scourge sword)so learning from others

would be great, and maybe teaching a little if possible. Now you also say this is open invite,

so does this mean anyone can come? And lastly stupid question, directions, or for now a round about area

we shall be traveling too.

    • If you've not had your fill of Transformers collaborative news today, here is some more with a leaked product listing for the Project Knight: Transformers X Knight Rider crossover. We've been dreaming of this one, and it appears a transforming K.I.T.T. will be coming as soon as August! It must be something big and or special with a $49. - Read the Full News Story
    • Tonight on GotBot Goes Live, we talked Transformers news for the newest multipack and some reissues. We also talked collaboratives with TMNT, an Ectotron reissue and, maybe, even Star Wars? Plus, we address the MP Ginrai teaser image and answer who is Riggorus?
    • EDIT 2: Okay, I think my real problem with this was the marketing image. The main image shows four robot turtles standing together, so I was ready for four toys, not one. Admittedly, I was so disappointed that I did not bother to read the article fully. That's my fault. I apologize. That said, now that I understand it is THE van that turns into a robot, not "robot versions of the four turtles," that makes more sense, but I don't get the four heads. There are images here of a bandana free head which I gather is not included. I would actually prefer a non-specific generic turtle head for the robot. I think that would remove a lot of confusion. At least for me. EDIT 1: My bad, I misunderstood. It's one toy with swappable heads. So, you made a thing based on a four member team, and you only want to sell one toy? You're not even trying to get people to "Collect all FOUR!" You do understand how toy sales work, right? Original Comment: This is a perfectly fine idea executed TERRIBLY. You made four unique toys, each specific to each of the Ninja Turtles, that all turn into the same vehicle? It would be one thing if they joined together to form the van. There have been transformer sets like that before. This is just wasted opportunity. Not to mention, that van exists for the turtles to ride in together as a team, so if they can turn into vehicles ... what do they need a van for? I get that that's their van, and that's cute and all, but ... this is just dumb and disappointing. Why not think about what kind of car each of them would drive based on their personalities, or ask some car company if they want to do a tie-in promotional? What do I want with four copies of the same van and no one to ride in any of them? It makes no sense.
