I completed my deal with him through emails and Pms on tfw2005's boards, but it all started here and I think you should know about what happened too.

Atreyu on TFW2005 is Nightscream.

I bought a complete set of dvd microns mint in their plastic trays for 480$ shipped (shipping to Italy). Items arrived damages due to Nightscream's bad packaging, there is a thread about this:

I paid for a set of valuable collectibles in mint condition and I received damaged items; 5 trays out of 13 have cracked parts or broken corners and all of the trays are heavily and extensively scratched. There's a big difference between a MISB item and an item whose box has been damaged like in this case, and every collector knows it, especially a MISB collector like Nightscream.

I first asked for a 30% refund, or 144$, hoping that Nightscream would have lowered it to 100 or 120$, but he only offered 69$; I later lowered my request to 120$, and he lowered his refund offer to 45$. He sent me this refund and I refused it, because it doesn't cover the loss of value he caused to the items.

He also proposed to refund me 170$ (5/13th of the total) + 15 euros for shipping to send him back the damaged items only, but I bought this set from him for the very reason that I wanted to avoid headaches looking for each of them, so I asked for a refund on the set I bought.

And, still, it was him to create this problem, I made my part, I paid for the items and for their shipping and this is how he sent the items:

I asked him to cancel the deal, with 480$ + 20 euros for shipping I would have had my money back and he would have been free to sell these damaged microns for 480$ to somebody else, but he refused to cancel the deal.

I paid Nightscream 480$ shipping included for a mint set of items and I received a damaged set of items, with loss of value because of him. Not only he didn't offer a fair refund at the beginning, but he lowered its initial offer of 69$ to 45$.

I will soon contact a lawyer to see what is possible to be done, but for now my advice is to avoid having business with this person: it's a matter of attitude and of respect to other people. Transformers are a hobby and I feel treated like a POS after all of this, I have been humiliated by this seller and I will never deal with him again.

This is based on my personal experience, yours could be different, but it's not my problem anymore.

If somebody needs help or wants to know more, I am available.
