I have met the creator of these "bootlegs" Let me tell you. the only thing that gave it away that it was a bootleg, was the cardboard box. I have spent the last 8 years making assorted bootleg covers, boxes and other printed documents. this is pretty good. The problem is the texture of the paper/cardboard. It isnt glossy as G1. and feels like a heavier weight.

 

Toywise it is from the old french mold. So the spring to launch missles and roller are cut short or something. It even says stamped "Made in France"

use windex or warm soapy water while applying your decals. Also make sure that they're completely free from the surrounding material when applying, you don't want to rip the outside trailer sticker like I did :redface.

 

I still think about getting a black OP too.

 

One of the other things I noticed with my Optimus Prime is that the fist are bigger. I thought though I read somewhere there were two types, I could be wrong.
