20th Prime Stacks

That'll be cool, all I did for a substitute was cut down some toothpicks and wrap 'em in tinfoil, looks pretty good that way as a cheap alternative :)

I'm guessing that by the time you buy 20th Prime and the repro stacks, plus the S/H to get the stacks to your house, it's close enough in price that you could've just bought MP Prime to begin with. The only advantage I could see would be if you like the battle scarring or really hate MP Prime's grey gun.

I see your point, but I already have 20th Prime, and now I'm thinking about fixing the stacks. It's an after-thought.

That'd be the gray gun for me. I'll never understand how a wrong-colored rifle is somehow better than shorter smokestacks. :wtf

How do you figgure that? 20th Prime @ $65-70, compared to MP Convoy @ $100 + S/H...

 

You start off paying the difference to ship MP from Japan, then unless you happen to have a local store that sells MP you have to pay for it to be shiped to you. if you can go to Wal-Mart Hasbro handles the "cost" of shiping it from Japan for you.

 

Then you add the cost of the stacks... If I remember right the guy at the Allspark was selling them for $12 with shiping included, still puts you at $82 tops.

If I can get a good set of stacks for my 20th Anniversary Prime I'll try and put them on. I just hope I dont mess Prime up in the process. If anything I'll make my own. I love that website. They have Energon Cubes for gods sake! I'll have to order a set of those to put with my TF.

Of course, in order to be completely show-accurate to the point of unhealthy obsession, the cubes would have to be the same dimensions as Soundwave's tape holder / energon cube maker in his chest. :nuts

Yes it does, the repro stacks are for Hasbro's 20th Prime to replace the US regulation stacks.
