how cool would this crossover be?

i'm a fan of a good crossover. one thing i'd looooooove to see is transformers crossing with gundam. think about the possiblities. finally the humans would have the means to become more directly involved in the autobot/decepticon war. with factions supporting either side i think it could make for one helluva good story!

 

then there could even be a group of humans with their gundams who fight both autobots and decepticons. like in the gundam wing series the enemy is basically war itself. the gundam pilots rather than choose sides just blow away anyone who's fighting on a battlefield, not choosing one side or another. could be some great story making potential there.

 

it would be nice to have something where the humans weren't just mostly helplessly caught in between. :thumb

 

anyone else ever thought of anything like this one?

 

i doubt if it would ever be done officially but who knows, i might try my hand at some fan fiction on this one.

Well ya know, E-mirage kinda has a Gundam feel to him already, so this could work!

not only mirage, but bulkhead as well has a lot of resemblance to gundams. the influence is there, now it's time to connect the dots.

 

many times i've sat here staring at my gundam collection and thinking of the ways they can combine with the transformers in terms of story lines and the coolness factor is just endless.

 

fanfic is one thing, i'd love to see the real deal on screen, that would be the ultimate! :thumb

i've thought about that one too, i actually like robotech more than gundam.

 

but with gundams you have more room for creativity with using different gundams with different powers (hyper modes!) where as in robotech it's just basically the same mass produced valkyries.

 

it just seems to me that wing zero's buster cannon or burning gundams hyper powers would be a better match up against the transformers.

theres lots of them that transform. i own a 1/100 airmaster burst and a 1/144 though i'm selling that one along with the rest of my 1/144 models (auction is up on ebay til tomorrow morning for those who like kitbashing). thats one of the coolest of the bunch.

 

i probably wouldn't limit the use of the gundams in the story to any individual lines of them, i'd probably use an allstar lineup of the best ones. (plenty to choose from!) every series has some good ones and some that are....eh...soso. only the very best gundams will do. :thumb

 

it would also probably be a good idea to include some of the mass produced mobile suits just for some good cannon fodder.
