Just a thought I had, and I'm sure others have thought of it too.

It would be simple:

Each member interested would list what he/she is looking for that is currently in retail.

There would be NO FINDERS FEE'S applied. Just the cost of the item PLUS shipping, and any PAYPAL transaction fee's

It would have to be a PAYPAL transaction for both parties involved "peace of mind"

Example:

Person A says that they want an Alt. Prime, they happen to live in N.Y. and have no idea as to when he will show.

Person B says that they are warming shelves in Cali. and would be willing to pick one up for Person A.

Person A PAYPAL'S Person B the money for the bot PLUS shipping, and any PAYPAL fee's.

Person B purchases and ships the bot to Person A.

Now before someone get's all like "I'm not making any special trips to the store for someone else" STOP, we are all TFans here. We are here for a common interest, the Transformers toy line. I would gladly pick up stuff for a fellow fan. I drive by two Post Offices and at least four stores that carry Transformers every day going to and from work and I would not consider stopping by "a special trip"

So, think it over, vote, post a response, whatever floats your boat.

And Mods/Admin, if this is a "no-no" please delete it.

I did read the rules and I think it passes because it would be non-profit and the buyer would actually be listing what he/she wants.

I'd do it.

all I'm looking for right now is alt op or mirage, like everyone else.  But I'd be happy to hunt stuff down for others if I can.

What about PayPal fees?

I'm willing to pick up anything in the UK for anybody here at cost & shipping. I've never made profit from a deal with a fellow TFan, I just like helping people out and knowing that I can ask for help should I need it. I wouldn't be willing to take a loss either though.

My help is always free. Like you said, it's not like I'd be going out of my way by popping in a toy shop. (In fact, it's a good excuse to use on the missus!) If you pay by PayPal though, I don't think the "helper" should be stung with their 4% fees and take a loss.

Thanks Siburke, forgot about Paypal fee's, yep those would be the responsibility of the person being helped, not the helper.

In the end, all Person B - the helper, would be out of is a little time, and whats that when you've helped a fellow fan?
