To be honest I held off on the Energon line 'cause the figs looked dumb in the pics. However, I have purchased a few on recomendation from this forum, and I must say these toys are f'ing awesome. I'm not fond of the Omega in the pic, but that just means I'll have to wait and see it close up and be proved wrong again.

i'm with everyone else here. when i first saw the energon pics i wasn't too thrilled. i did think they looked overly childish, and considering the broad range of fans, it didn't seem like it was going to be a very promising line.

 

however after buying most of the first wave i've come to like these as much as any transformer toys ever made....and i've been here since the pre-transformers diaclone days!

 

omega is no different, but as with the rest of this line...it's better to wait to pass judgement til after the toy is in hand. as exciting as it will be waiting for him, i still have plenty of wave 2 figures to catch up on, STILL haven't found any yet!!!

 

i think the stores in this area probably have boxes of them in storage but nobody will look for me. too many first waves still packing the shelves so who knows when i might get them.
