Trainformers

the main 2 problems with trains are...

1 no rails, no travel unless they do what was done in RiD and just not run on rails when needed (hell they even entered into a race) but it just looks lame

2 how many wanys can you trans form the same basic shape i think RiD is about as close as your going to get for range of transformation

1.  A problem easily overlooked in cartoons.  :tflaugh  :tflaugh

2.  Maybe if they change the type of train.  Might Gaine's main engine has a fairly unique (if not bricky) transformation scheme.  Of course, one of his limbs, Cain, transforms almost exactly like Rapid RUn...  :redface )

The Speed-Planet in Cybertron has a mahoosive road network! Why not have train-tracks?

Because no one needs public transport.

...too bad there doesn't seem to be any plans of a toy line for it. (-_-)

And I highly doubt there will be; as Transformers are almost always realised as toys first, then comic/cartoon second. Or at best, simultaneously. We've never seen a line of TFs released in comic/cartoon form before they were toys (in North American, the BM cartoon was aired before toys hit shelves, but that was a problem in shipping/distribution of figures - here, BM toys came out well before the show).

Although the appearance of War Within Optimus Prime in the Titanium Series shown at Toy Fair does give hope that these toys could come out in that line... but does Titanium Series WW OP transform?
