I like the decals.  It makes him stand out from most of the other alts.

it's my theory that Hasbro used the G1 police decos because they're generic. Alt-Prowl was released on the international market so it makes sense that he doesn't have official police decos of a certain city or state.

or it could just be that those were the stickers the G1 version had

 

 

I like Alt Prowl a lot... now that I've reversed the leg mod. I realized after a while that he just looked lame with those big bubble legs. He looks way cooler IMO with his legs the "official" way.

It was probably a combination of both ideas. Hasbro might have not that since it would be an international release the idea of having a certain type of decals would be a bad idea then saw it as an opportunity to G1nify it more.

 

Last night I was bored so did the leg mod on my BT Prowl. I also like the look of the official way more but I think I'll keep it like this for a while.
