First Kitbash Help

It's time for me to finally start my first kitbash...I'm doing a simple repaint...starting easy...I'm gonna paint all of Silverstreak's red parts blue...what's the best way to take the back windows off his shins? Will they come off easily without breaking the li'l attatchment parts? What about the red part in front of the dashboard? The forearms and legs seem easy enough, though...

 

Any other tips on Silverstreaks 'quirks'? Thanks guys!  :thumb

The windows are held on by a pin that is inserted through the leg. 

 

However...because the glass' ability to be slid up and down across the pin, you can simply pull it off one end of the pin.  Make sure not to pull it too hard...I imagine it could break...but it shouldn't.

 

Once you get once side off of the pin, you should just be able to pull the other side of the glass off of the pin.

 

I recommend removing the legs from the body, and removing the "foot" piece from the leg before attempting the removal.
