Can Hasbro/Takara/Tomy even leagally produce a

"skyfire" toy???

 

for some reason i got the impression that they couldnt use the name - which is why EVERY figure has been named jetfire.

Actually, in Japan, Energon Jetfire was known as Skyfire.  Then his recolor was called Skyfire Sonic.  So something tells me that if we do see something we may yet see Skyfire in America/UK.

Anyway, they could do something like this.  The cartoo;n modle of skyfire doesn't look like any toy currently out, unlike he's old toy.  So it could be possiable, but how popular is jet/skyfire in japan?

i hate you because i don't have one.  that was my biggest complaint as a kid, i didn't have a jetfire that looked like the cartoon.  if it goes missing you can blame me.
