I'm interested in doing some bashing

I'm interested in doing some repaints but I have no experience doing this, and I need some tips and help with this stuff.

What's better to use? paint of spraypaint?

How do I remove the paint on the tf I want to change?

How long should I let the paint dry?

What brand of paint works the best?

How do I take off those unnecessary  :ab and :Dc decals?

If I'm using spraypaint. what do I use to cover the parts I don't want repainted?

 

The only experience I have with this is using sharpies and that's what kept my curiosity for wanting to paint a whole bot.
