Those were my favorite eps. Did you see the later two-parter involving Batman's robotic clone that was produced shortly before HARDAC was destroyed? Classic tv. One of the best animated series every produced.

I thought the follow up was just 1 ep?

I thought it was 2 because a lot happened. First, he gets out of the box, catches some criminals, starts acting like Batman, gets shot while Batman is trying to find him, finds the creator of HARDAC to get help, goes to the Batcave as HARDAC is trying to take over Batman's computer, and eventually his good side wins out and he kills himself.

I know they were really good at compacting a very good story into 20 minutes, but I remember a LOT happening.

I would say coincidence.  Cybertron is a very generic and appropriate sounding name for a company that makes cybernetic entities.  Honestly, the only thing that remotely ties it to TF's in my opinion is the transforming garbage cans.  Ultimately, had Transformers never existed, I'm guessing these Batman episodes would be pretty much the same.

But yeah, great series.  Hell, here's a parrallel.  Great series followed by an awesome series set in the future with ties to it, and then a reboot unfit to carry its jock airing now.  OK, to be fair, BW was set in the past for the most part, and while the current 'The Batman' is vastly inferior to the 90's version, it's still worlds better than the Armadaverse.  But still a slight parrallel none the less.
