I'm interested in hearing the rationale behind/excuse for this "non-planet" Unicron as, in my book, this is one of the most ugly-as-Blot, random design for a Transformer as I have ever seen.

the back story behind this toy is that after C-Megs is destroyed at end of the Cybertron cartoon, Unicron's spark(which Megs absorbed near the end of the Energon cartoon) is freed from Megatron's influence and then creates a new body. however, all of Unicron's power has been used up so he only has enough energy left to make a small TF sized body. of course, none of this is ever featured in the cartoon because Gonzo didn't want to do a continuation so they made Galaxy Force a stand alone series.
