Blitz if you want galaxy Force Red alert he is available from Forbidden Planet in London for £24.99, nearly got him the other week but he looks like a brick! lol.

Why does everybody call him a brick?  He lacks two points of standard articulation in his shoulders, but gains four that very few TFs have.

fans always have to find something to complain about

its like one of those unwritten rules i guess

i agree it seems we(the fandom) Starscream and moan about anything we dont like yet post so little about whats good so i will post what i like about this guy

his size, his uber rocket, his transformation and his character in the show all rock and hes not a brick hes just a little limited due to the small feet(for his size) and rather top heavy shape (oh crap that last bit sounded like a bitchy moan)

C`mon guys I called him a brick because A there is a lot of kerfuffle over this term in this post and B, he loooks remarkbly like a brick with a bottle on top in vehicle mode to me.

But I also think most bots are a bit bricky in general so its not a total derogatory term.

Red alert Gen1 was my first Autobot so he has a special place in me heart.

"Brick" has a somewhat different connotation in this fandom.  It has nothing to do with the figure's aesthetics, and yes, Red is very blocky in design, since he's, y'know, a tank, which is basically just a bigass block on wheels with a big gun.  "Brick" usually refers to the fact that the figure has little or no poseability.
