My 2 cents on Energon

Ok is it only me which I doubt but man dreamwave not only should be in charge of the comics but I saw the should be the writers and animators for the series we would get such better quality cartoons.

They're both good, I like variety. Whether we'd get better quality cartoons from Dreamwave is debatable.

 

Personally, I'd rather not see another iteration of the four horsemen of the apocalypse on TV. Yeah I prefer the toon to the comic this time around.

Hmm lets see have Dreamwave/Furman in charge of the show so we can have a Dark God Unicron again, Starscream characterized like G1 again, Scorponok as a badass again, the Terrorcons being little more than a petty little gang of thugs rather than a massive force and more importantly a bunch of remolded BW figures from Armada running around and playing scary cliche horsemen and taking away screentime from important characters.....or have the show which is actually being orginal?

 

No offense to anyone who prefers the comic more, just my opinion :tfgrin

I agree with Galvy. Considering Armada Screamer was one of my all-time favorite TF characters, I really like a bit of originality in how the characters are handled, thank you very much.

I like both. The cartoon gives full attention to the main characters/plotline while the comic allows for a little latitude and some different things.

 

The horsemen are a little over-done, but I see them as a means to an end.

I'm not much into comics in general.. but I LOVE Dreamwave's renditions of the characters.. nicely done. I guess my opinion is null and void, being I've only seen the toon =P

I really like the cartoon a lot. I could do with a little less Ironhide/Kicker, but other than that, it's the best series since Beast Wars.
