$9.00 Silverstreak

Man this gets me depressed. The best toys ever made (in my humble opinion) and the only people who wanted them were us Transformer fans. So much so that stores are selling them at $9.00 a pop :tfsad.

It seems like the only person who bought them at my TRU was me. I wonder why they were not popular with kids (at least in my area). If I was a kid I would have loved these and made all my friends buy them as well.

Back on topic; yes, you should at least pick up an extra one to keep MISB. Streak is one of the best.

I'd be afraid to watch a little kid try to transform one of these...

True that.

But I am sure they could figure it out...eventually....and after many pieces popping off....

...ok, ok, I guess they truly are exclusively for adult collectors.

The Reason Walmart has some for such lower prices is the same reason anything on there shelves drops, they are clearing space for new stuff.  And from what I've heard they don't plan on stocking anymore Alts so they drop the price to clear them and start stocking Cybertron.  My local Walmart is doing the same thing.  Though all they've had for six months is Ravage and Windcharger anyways.

$9 for any Alt is worth picking up if you're a kitbasher.  So many of the parts are interchangable that you'd be a fool not to snatch it up!

And masterminicon, you and I have exactly the same idea!  Actually, I think lots of us have that idea and for that reason I think Red alert will still sell despite the weird choice of alt mode.
