What if the Alt Prowl was is a Homage to this guy. I have this toy put I didn't realize his Bio basically says he is Prowl down to the dry sense of Humor.

Still prefer my BT version w/ the grey parts over the baby blue. Also still hightly recommend the leg mod to give it a more G1ish look. But I do like the decals on the hood. BT Prowl does look too plain for my tastes. Hoping reprolabels.com can get me some labels pretty quickly, then I have the best of both the BT and the Alt versions.

Oh god those blue legs suck. The black/dark grey legs look better. I hope the figures I ordered from BBTS have the dark legs, cause if they don't I'm sending the damn things back and going with the BT version.

This is the best vehicle mode comparison since Silverstreak, Grimlock and Tracks. Forget the decals. The car mode looks just as good as the BT version. The only issue for me is the engine isn't as detailed. I still can't believe the extras the gave the Alt version though. Unlike the Sunstreaker that's coming out. I seriously hope the give Streaker more paint apps or yellow plastic parts.

Actually they didn't remove an details, they stayed faithful to the Acura. The Honda Integra Type-R has a different looking engine than the Acura RSX Type-S.

Only thing they didn't put on is the i-vtec logo and the Acura logo. Also parts of it were changed to baby blue but that's because they changed practically every single dark grey part to baby blue.

I have all 3 production versions, BT Police, BT Blue and Alternator Prowl. I have to say I like the blue BT over the police one. It is very plain. Then the Alt Prowl came and fufilled what I had hoped this line would do for prowl. There is not one thing I do not like about the Alt version. The baby blue was a throw off when i opened it up, however, it's kinda grown on me really fast. I think color is a good thing. Grey is a dominant color in the line and its nice to see some other color choices, since there are some cars out there with colors other then grey  :thumb

I don't like both modes of one... I mean, I think the alt CAR version is better, more close to the G1 one, and BOT mode of BT one is better in my opinion, so.. I buy both or nothing.

    • Grahf, you made excellent points, and I got a chuckle at how you ended. Hasbro has been sending me, "hey, where have you been?" Spam-mail lately, and to tell you the truth, I have bought very little tf's from Pulse or anywhere else in 2024, which had already seen a steady decline year after year for several years now. It's not financial constraints, though I think my wife is happier to see a spending reduction. The real reason for me is exemplified by these latest Hascon "reveals." I'm not interested in any of these and until Hasbro gets it's act together, I won't be buying anything more from them, and I used to spend at least a thousand a year or more per year for the past decade or so. You can't tell Mr that Hasbro can't use "Selects" to give us some obscure characters like Dogfight, Horri-bull, or Backstreet, just to name a few, at least one a quarter. Going back to my wife, she said to me recently, "wow, you hardly bought any Transformers this year!" Her saying that really got me thinking and I got frustrated me about Hasbro's lack of direction. They may find that when you alienate your customers for too long, they might not ever come back. I've lost hope that we'll see an updated Outback, Windcharger, Tailgate,  or Powerglide,  again, just to name a few, and that's poor product planning and execution. I can deal with a lot of things, like poor qc, but just ignoring fans and then insuling them with tf "reveals" like what we just got, yeah, I'll keep laughing and deleting your emails begging me yo come back...for now. You better right the ship, Hasbro, cause I'm guessing if I feel this way, so do many others, too.
