Because we are serious fans.  Heh.  No,...actually between Jag and Myself we do a lot of Proto buying.  We both have contacts in the orient we use and sometimes they will contact us prior to putting it on ebay and other times when an auction gets cancelled by ebay, as in this case, we contact each other and do the transaction via private auction.

 

Also, a few of the other sites are particular about posting information and pictures about Protos.  TFans doesn't seem to have the same restrictions.  So we come here to post about our hauls.  I suspect others on other boards get protos too but just can't post them there.
