Some one said it his white plastic looked like it was made of wax. Maybe that's true. See if there's a wick in the back of his head.

Yet another reason I quit collecting Alternators. Some of them seemed too fragile, this proved to be true in this case.

Shame, I'd be pissed after spending $50.00 let alone $20.00

I have loved this line up untill grimlock. It seems like since then it has lost "the touch"  so to speak. I can kind of understand why you quit.

Who knows though, maybe I just got a lemon.

I will also let you guys know what happens when I get my Prowl.......... I'm gonna be pissed if I end up having to get the Alt version as well just to have extra parts.

P.S. SC didn't you say that one of the side mirrors had come off as well?

Yup, I had a mirror fall off. I'm not sure if it was due to plastic quality though...

Just make sure not to open Prowl's doors by using the mirrors (like I do with Meister/Laserwave).  The plastic is very fragile.  I suggest, flipping the under body part down, enabling you to open the doors.  Then flip the section back to where it belongs, when the door is open.  Since Prowl has windows, and their is a peg to hold the door closed, this is the best option.

I kind of thought the head looked cheaper in pictures than previous BT's.  I just got my Prowl today, but haven't opened it yet.  Hmm.

Looks like those of us who predicted cost cutting on this line were bang on the nail.

For those of you who didn't know, the diecast count on this one is pretty low.
