The GF/Cybertron "Police Lineup"

Okay. TFormers.com has a really kickin' picture of the scales of the GF characters, apparently based off of the cartoon, not the toy line.

http://TFormers.net/i/a/scalechart.jpg

you can tell that scale isn't based on the toy line, due to Megalo/Metroplex's massive size (not to mention the other excavation/worker "Gear" planet guys), but also due to things like Terrashaver being almost as big as Flame Convoy.

It also appears that there are 2 notable "no-shows" from the lineup, at least that I see: Soundwave and Primus. My guess is that it is due to their appearances being "surprises," and probably late in the show.

Which brings me to the questions:

1) Any other characters you see are missing?

2) Is that the combined Planet Force on the left side of the Autobot list? the one next to the minicons?

3) Who is the guy to the left of the Helicopter Convoy? Or the awesome-looking, covered in weapons guy behidn him?

4) who is the guy on the Autobot line between Metroplex's legs? The one with the massive cannon... I know I've seen pictures of him recently, but I don't know his name.

5) why are there so many fewer destrons? =P

6) Who is the guy under Metroplex's right side from our perspective on the "Deathtron" side? (dang, that actually sounds cool)... I know the one on the left side is that dune buggy guy... but who is the one on the right?

And... Anyone out there wish we could get All the Gears guys in the scale represented here, even if they were $80-100 toys? =P

3)Autovolt

4)First Gunner, the First Aid upgrade

5) Dunno, they're always is

6)The red one? Rumble, the drones.  They'll come in 3 colors.

Thanks for coming to my defense, guys. =)

I've been trying to follow this line, because I'll be honest: This is by far the coolest TF line I've ever seen,a nd I collected every mold of Energon (I got in to collecting around RiD)... I plan on owning all these guys at some point or another, and the concept of getting full-on upgrades, as opposed to repaints, -really- appeals (while at the same time keeping the cast of characters o nthe show from blossoming to something unweildy).

Funny, though -- I would've thought the dune buggy was official Takara, it looked really good. Ah well.. still plan on getting him =) ..... And you are right on the kids, I didn't have my glasses on. =P

can someone make this into a wallpaper? I tried using it raw, but its proportions are wrong... It needs to be "letterboxed"... Also, is there a version without tformer's lettermarking? I wouldn't mind it if it weren't so obvious -- a clean version, perhaps even with English Translations (or no words at all) and proper watermarking in the corner would be amazing... But I suck at that kinda thing.

Last thing: Every time I see Metroplex, he grows on me. Metroplex is one of 3-4 TF's I distinctly remember from when I was a kid, I wore him into the ground. I gotta own this guy, even if he is a giant excavator (Which, BTW, exist almost exactly like that in Germany, in strip mines).

Edit:

3) The guy behind Autovolt is Sonic Convoy, Sonic Bomber combined with Galaxy Convoy.

That's what I was looking for. =) Is Autovolt an upgrade to Dreadrock/Jetfire, or a seperate character? *Goes off to find pics*

Edit 2: I am an idiot, and can't read today. Feel free to bash me now. =P Okay.. *goes to look for Sonic bomber stuff now* Tho for the record, Autovolt looks -really- cool too =)

We've been dreaming of this one, and it appears a transforming K.I.T.T. will be coming as soon as August! It must be something big and or special with a $49. - Read the Full News Story

    • EDIT 2: Okay, I think my real problem with this was the marketing image. The main image shows four robot turtles standing together, so I was ready for four toys, not one. Admittedly, I was so disappointed that I did not bother to read the article fully. That's my fault. I apologize. That said, now that I understand it is THE van that turns into a robot, not "robot versions of the four turtles," that makes more sense, but I don't get the four heads. There are images here of a bandana free head which I gather is not included. I would actually prefer a non-specific generic turtle head for the robot. I think that would remove a lot of confusion. At least for me. EDIT 1: My bad, I misunderstood. It's one toy with swappable heads. So, you made a thing based on a four member team, and you only want to sell one toy? You're not even trying to get people to "Collect all FOUR!" You do understand how toy sales work, right? Original Comment: This is a perfectly fine idea executed TERRIBLY. You made four unique toys, each specific to each of the Ninja Turtles, that all turn into the same vehicle? It would be one thing if they joined together to form the van. There have been transformer sets like that before. This is just wasted opportunity. Not to mention, that van exists for the turtles to ride in together as a team, so if they can turn into vehicles ... what do they need a van for? I get that that's their van, and that's cute and all, but ... this is just dumb and disappointing. Why not think about what kind of car each of them would drive based on their personalities, or ask some car company if they want to do a tie-in promotional? What do I want with four copies of the same van and no one to ride in any of them? It makes no sense.
