How to prevent chrome part wear out?

How do you prevent those chrome part wear out?

It happen to my Megatron Before

It happen to my Rockmen Figure before.

It will happen to new STD Prime/kicker/sword soon.

 

Don't tell me keep the toy in a box.(that is one good solution, but I want to play it.)

 

Wear a glove and play it?

 

Use some coating to prevent it?(e.g Tayami [**] Spread paint?)

Rub great honking gobs of vaseline on the chrome parts

:wave :wave 1. Wash your hand w/ soap before playing them. The oil gland from your hand can really destroy the toy color or paint.

 

2. Don't put the chrome or toy as a matter fact directly on sunlight. It will fade the color or the paint.
