what color is energon?

in the novels it was described as a silvery yellowish liquid

 

what does this stuff look like

im asking b/c im trying to make my own energon cubes for my alts and dont know what color to make them

The toon had them looking like purple as you have stated, but they also had

them with some brown tones such as the unstable ones Megatron was making on

Dinobot island. Maybe you can make some of both and place some of the

unstable ones next to Decepticons and stable ones next to Autobots.

In Beast Wars it was always purple, or blue-ish purple.

In G1 it was also purple-ish.

 

In Energon, there was every colour in the damn rainbow.

 

So I'd go with purple.

I think that was just an effect of the refinement, the ore was yellow.

I don't think Energon has colour, but it's the container it's in that determines it.

Raw energon on Beast Wars was a crystal blue color but on Energon it was lime green. If your using the cubes for the Alts Id go with Purple. Alts are GeeWun Redux so Id go with that.

i those energon cubed that alt. windcharger was holding looked too much like a cube of Pepto Bismal. BTW, the show had the cubes in colors that would resemble an acid trip, all glowing and sparkly, it was many colors, but def. pink/purple.
