My Alt. Mode Sucks

The funny thing about ebay is that people who start auctions off at a high price usually don't get many bids (if any at all) and a lot of the time their items won't sell for as much as it would have had they simply started the auction off at a lower price.

When people see a HUGE opening price, even though it may be close to what that item normally sells for, they'll pass on it.

If I had all these AFA graded tf's I wouldn't be too worried about starting them off for one cent with no reserve and watching it get bid up from there. Over 7 days I'm sure I'd get all that I want, maybe even more for some of them and I wouldn't get burned by the high listing fee.

The truth of the matter is, if the guy'd set them all at like a buck or so at first and THEN let the bidders have free reign...he'd get MUCH higher prices because they'd all want such an incredibly rare collectible

Some people don't have this thing called common sense...sigh

They are not a penny each. But you can make an offer on them if you wish. I am fairly reasonable but please take into consideration the rarity of these items before making an offer.

He then goes on to say that the Windcharger is on hold for $250. I don't like these, I think he is just trying to get exposure to those people (like me) that sort the ebay results by lowest price. I will eventually own some of these things.

Also note that these ones are lower quality, AFA 60, as opposed to the 1000 USD ones which were AFA 80 or 85.
