Okay, Unicron's planet-mode was a combination of Saturn, possibly the Death Star, and an antlion (his mouth closely resembles the jaws of an antlion and the way they capture their prey).  Also, his robot body has demonic/Satanic overtones in the batlike wings, the horns, and the goatee.  He also has kind of a mongolian/barbarian thing going on with his face, not unlike Wreck-Gar and the dude they fed to the Sharkticons. 

 

Unicron's CHARACTER, on the other hand, is 150% Galactus.  He's Galactus right to the core, from his eating of lifebearing planets all the way down to his creation of heralds to do his bidding.  Classic Galactus.

thats intersting, i have always think the same that unicron was based in the death star but i think that the only way tonkow the truth is asking to the creator of unicron.
