Flame Toys, makers of the Furai Model kits and high-end Kuro Kara Kuri figure line, have posted a flurry of new concept art for both lines to Twitter! First up is Furai Model Big Convoy and Optimus Primal as drawn by Studio Trigger alum Akira Amemiya. Fellow Trigger artist Masaru Sakamoto contributed the design for LioConvoy, and interestingly enough labeled the art with his US name of "Leo Prime!" The Trigger personnel's Transformers fandom has been on display from as far back as Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, where you could see Autobot and Decepticon symbols turned into background robots.

Following the ACGHK 2022 reveal, Flame Toys has finally released official colors images of their Flame Toys Transformers G1 Arcee Furai Model Kit. Arcee has 60 movable joints. The model kit coming up for preorder is priced at $55 USD to be released in May, 2023. Read on to see the official images and product info.

Just in from Unix Square is our first official look at the Combot G1 Optimus Prime. The prototype figure shown is part of a new series of figures that you put togeher. What is special about these Kits is the parts can be reconfigured into a vehicle. This one for Optimus Prime looks a lot like the IDW design from the comics. - Read the Full News Story

Following the official reveal of the Combot G1 Optimus Prime, Flame Toys' new Unix Square Transformers series gives us a preview of their G1 Starscream design. Presumably, this will be the next release in their building kits that include a robot and vehicle mode. Unfortunately, we don't get to see Startscream's jet here, if he gets one, but what can see this is an IDW Comics based design. - Read the Full News Story

This reminds me of Construct-bots which, in my opinion, was a very cool concept! Construct-bots, though, was very gimmicky in its designs; this looks to be more of a collectors version of that original concept.
