I love that shade of blue. It reminds me of the one used for Takara Adventure (Beast Hunters) Dreadwing.

It's such a shame that they didn't think to engineer this mold to have a "backward" robot transformation in mind. Sort of like Universe 2.0 Sideswipe and Sunstreaker. It's so close but it just doesn't work completely. The torso doesn't look quite right when you do it either as the pelvis sits too far back from the cockpit "chest". And while it can sort of turn into plane mode even with the arms switched, they stick out awkwardly on the bottom but it can still sit on the landing gear. The shoulder pads don't quite work right when the arms are moving "forwards" too.

The mold overall doesn't seem to quite fill out the price point design or parts count wise. It just doesn't quite feel full leader class by today's standards. I feel as though there was enough in the budget to fully realize a reverse robot mode it if they wanted to. Especially since there's quite a bit of reuse with this mold between the standard "G1" transformation and what would be the "Prime" transformation. Skyquake, Dreadwing, Botcon Machine Wars Megaplex and even a Botcon style Machine Wars Megatron all from the "Prime" Transformation. Then G1 Skyquake, Machine Wars Starscream and Universe King Atlas from the "G1" style Transformation. That's seven total possible reuses that could've helped to spread the additional costs of a little extra tooling to. And since i'm a crazy person, I'd even go for a Beast Hunters retool from it too to make both Hasbro and Takara colors as well as Beast Wars Uprising Windrazor. Not that Windrazor would need that figure since we're getting a new BW Silverbolt in Legacy at some point and he's one of only two redecos for that mold and the only one that isn't just Silverbolt himself but in another color. And since they made Sandstorm, they'll make Windrazor. It would only be new wings, feet and weapons though. Maybe a new head not that it's needed as the stock head of Legacy Skyquake/Dreadwing already looks almost exactly like the BW Dreadwing head anyway.

All you block heads that keep voting this crap 4 and 5's are the reason Hasbro keeps giving us trash!!!!

While I do agree that there's more 4's and 5's in the votes here than probably should be, I don't agree that Hasbro gives us trash. But that's subjective. I do quite often find myself questioning the high votes some things get. And while I might seem like I just love everything sometimes, I really don't. I just don't hate everything (except for the upcoming RiD Tow-Line and Crasher from Kingdom Mirage and the Kingdom Mirage retool in general) and have a sort of understanding of the whole process and why things are the way they are for better or worse.

But what problem do you really have with Dreadwing though? I mean, it's easy to just call things trash but what is it really that bothers you? I'm just kind of curious.
