Never thought I would ever say this, but this actually looks pretty good. As a Transformer and Hot wheel fan, this is actually pretty exciting... but then again, it doesn't transform.

The Transformers X Hot Wheels collabs keep rolling out with yet another reveal of the Optimus Prime Orion Truck 1:64 Scale Die-Cast Metal Vehicle. Judging from the name, this is a Movie edition Optimus Prime. Sorry, no images just yet, but we do have some product details listed below. Following the previous images, the Hot Wheels X Transformers release keep on racing off the track with a look at the Transformers 1:64 Die-Cast Vehicle G1 Bumblebee In-package. Following the official reveal, Mattel Design Center @awildermode has posted a quick overview of the 3D printed design model and hi notes about creating the transforming figure. Some changes were made to original mold to work in the small form factor of 1:64 scale. This is gives a good idea of how small this figure is, which is probably common for Hot Wheels fans. - Read the Full News Story

So much for preorders and all that, as the May 21st date is dashed with the first first in-hand views of the Mattel Creations X Transformers Hot Wheels Optimus Prime are already out there.
