Thanks again to Hasbro Designer Evan Brooks @naveskoorb on Instagram who continues to share his behind-the-scenes on the wonderful Studio Series 86 toy creations. Today he's giving us the background on Studio Series 86 Sludge that is just hitting retail now. Read on to see his notes on how the leader class figure was made, with images of the process.

I think they could have Sludge's tail at least twice the length that it is if it had somehow "combiner wars" folded/accordioned into itself.  You know what I mean?
Otherwise, really great looking figure.  I am so happy for these larger, more cartoon accurate styling of the Dinobots in the mainline.  As along as they do not forget about Snarl and I hope they will make Swoop just as tall as the rest of the Dinobots (ignoring the error of the Sunbow Height chart for him).
