E-Galvatron or SL Galvatron-G?

Actually, when Unicron takes over Galvatron G, his eyes turn from red to green and crown turns a little darker. Not black, but darker than his regular grey. The most obvious scene I recall is the last episode, when Galvatron regains control and tosses Shining Omega Convoy aside. Take note of the crown in that scene, cos the lighting and position of the camera does not change, yet the dark grey turns lighter, along with the eye colour change from green to red.

that being said....

 

Galvatron G is your best choice I think....I've got both and if I had to choose one, I'd go with G. He's show accurate, smaller, and just feels right...not to mention the extra weapon.

 

Energon Galvatron is a homage pure and simple and is NEVER in the show. As people said before, it's merely the angles and shadows that show Galvatron G to have a black crown.
