I just read that he cant hold Steeljaw in mace mold? Elaborate?

Perhaps you could paint it over with some metallic purple model/miniatures paint? I know it won't look the same as vacuumised chrome, but it's better than nothing. :)

I might look into that, thanks for the suggestion. Luckily I'm within walking distance to a hobby shoppe, and there's a Games Workshop a half an hour away.

True. In the pics we saw recently of him holding the Steeljaw mace over his shoulder, the weapon was just propped up there. However, the end of the missile/handle has a pair of grooves in it; w little fiddling w/ said groove lets it peg loosely into the peg on LF's palm. Wrap the fingers around it and he can actually hold it in certain poses.

 

I'll put up some pics soon, somebody remind me. (And not 5 seconds from now either, smart guys. :P )

Ok thanks. It just boggles my mind that they'd give him a weapon he can't hold normally. Is Steeljaw the standard peg size?

Nope, not a new figure. Its a custom, still working on it though.

 

Another WiP:

 

Had to redo the whole lower half cuz the ball joints broke. So I had to improvise and use other parts.. The Sabertooth and Triceratops is just for testing.
